As the world begins to reopen and we reintegrate back into our regular schedules, routines, events, and hobbies, The Bear Pit would like to prepare you for our part in the reopening of your life! We will be diligently working and planning for reopening with this concept in mind:
“If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready!” – Will Smith
There is one variable in this situation that we cannot control, and that is the date that we are allowed to open our doors. However, we do have the opportunity to dictate and control our preparation for when that moment occurs. The Bear Pit will be clean and organized with a plan for sanitary safety. We will be READY for when the day comes to hit the bag punching!
Here are some changes to be aware of and prepared for so that you too can do your part to ensure a smooth and safe reopening:
1 . Soft opening: We will begin reopening with a modified class schedule and a class limit to encourage social distancing. What this means for you is that you will now be required to reserve your spot in the class. Don’t worry as this is a VERY simple and easy process that only takes a few clicks and seconds on your phone.
A.)
Zen Planner is the software that we use,
so please download this app to reserve classes.
B.)
Once downloaded, you will have sign in using the email that you
initially signed up with, if you don’t remember it, reach out to Tanner@Bearpit.com and he can get that info to you.
Most of you will not remember your password, so you’ll have to create a new one.
C.)
When you log in, the schedule will pop up with the option to “reserve” on the right side.
D.)
Once reserved, the class time for that day will be added to your reservation cache.
Please be aware that reservations are a COMMITMENT because class sizes are limited. If you click that star to hold your spot in the class, then you are potentially taking someone else’s spot — so do not be a “no-show”!
We will be keeping a close eye on this.

2. Personalized work stations: Circuits will be on a temporary hold to prevent repetitive touching of equipment. Members will work on their bag and have their own equipment (medicine ball, weights, etc.) that will be sanitized following every class.
3. Open Ventilation: an effort will be made to have both the front and back doors open for a cross breeze to allow the air flow through the gym.
4. Wellness Check: We ask that if you do not feel well, in any manner, please stay home! Be courteous and smart with your actions. We understand you are eager to get the ball rolling with your fitness goals and you don’t want to be cooped up any longer. Nonetheless, by staying home and playing it safe, we can all get through this quickly and safely!
WE ARE COMING BACK AND SO ARE YOU! TOGETHER WE WILL REBUILD! LET’S GO, TEAM BEAR PIT! -COACH
